The Lady Wildcats Field Hockey team opened their season with the "Under the Lights Tournament," hosted by Lee High School Aug. 25-26. 

The Wildcats went undefeated through the tournament, with four straight wins to take their pool and earn a perfect score of 12 points.

The girls had a strong showing, with sixteen goals coming from Lindsay Egbers, Katherine Zempolich, Carly Sane, Devin Kelly, Kelcie Greenfelder and Nicole Kang, and defensively allowing only one goal scored against them. Very strong showings by goalies Megan Kruse and Ashley Winkeler also played a factor in the tournament sweep.
