The Centreville High School Lady Wildcats defeated Washington-Lee HS in volleyball on Tuesday, Sept. 11 by a final score of 3-1. 

Grace Simmons had nine kills while and Yasemin Atalay had eight, and Janine Simmons and Haley Spencer had seven kills each. Haley Santymire recorded 25 digs and Atalay had 13. Bethany Forte had a total of 36 assists. 

Also against W-L, the junior varsity team won their game, 2-0, and the freshman team lost, 2-0.  Late in the same week, the varsity Lady Wildcats lost to the Lady Warhawks of Madison HS, 3-1.

They are slated to take on Lake Braddock on Thursday, Sept. 20th.
