Lady Wildcats Wrap Up Quarterfinals, Prepare for Next Battle

Girls soccer team will play McLean on Wednesday.

The  soccer team defeated Hayfield High School 3 - 0 in the first round of play in the Northern Regional AAA tournament on Wednesday, May 25th.

Haley Yow (assisted by Jenna Green) and Jenna Green (assisted by Katie Blumer) both scored goals in the first half. Clara Logsdon brought the final count to three by scoring on a penalty kick in the second half. Goalie Taylor Avery posted two saves for the game.

In the second round of play, the team defeated 3 - 0 in the quarter finals. Mari Marotta (assisted by Haley Yow) and Baylee Gillmore (assisted by Jenna Green) brought the score to 2 - 0 at the end of first half. Katie O'Donnell scored in the second half on a direct for a final score of score to 3 - 0.
