Man Arrested for Assaulting an Officer

The following information was supplied by the Fairfax County Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. 

Assaulting an Officer/DWI/Disorderly Conduct: Police arrested a man for disorderly conduct after an officer saw him arguing with a woman in the 5600 block of Stone Road around 4:21 p.m. on Saturday, August 13. The suspect was allegedly not compliant with officers and arrested for acting disorderly. Michael R. McCreight, Sr., 42, of 14268 Heritage Crossing Lane in Centreville, was charged with disorderly conduct, DWI and three counts of assault on a law enforcement officer.  

Drug Distribution/Concealed Weapon: Jeffrey Hampel, of Haversack Rd. in Centreville, was arrested on charges of distributing marijuana (PWI) greater than half an ounce to five ounces on Aug. 13th. He was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
