What are you doing today?
Me? I have a bone to pick—with a rodent who's been sleeping the winter away while the rest of us have been freezing. Last year, he came out of his little hole, looked at the sun and decided to go back to sleep for the next 6 weeks, while the rest of us fought through one of the worst winter storms in history. If you listened carefully you could hear the little bugger dreaming contented dreams of springtime frolics among the flowering pachysandras—or rather, you would have heard it had you been able to hear anything over the scrape of snowplows and spinning of car tires.
This year, we’ve already had one of the worst traffic cluster-forget-me-nots in area history, with more winter weather possible later in the week. Just possible though, not definite, which means me and a little rodent need to have a word.
Everyone meet me at the groundhog hole. We’ll sort the little bugger out.
