Officer of the Quarter: Stone Middle School SRO Steve Lawson
Citizens Advisory Committee honors Lawson with award for his service.
PFC Steve Lawson, a school resource officer at Ormond Stone Middle School, won the Officer of the Quarter Award at the Sully District Citizens Advisory Committee meeting on Tuesday.
Lawson has worked at Stone for the last five years. During that time, he has established a track record as a mentor for middle-school students, said his supervisor, Officer Bill Fulton. He has also collaborated with other officers at the Sully District Station for investigations.
