Westfield High School hosted the Virginia High School League Group AAA Spring Jubilee from June 5-9. The Spring Jubilee determined state AAA champions in baseball, softball, and boys’ and girls’ tennis, soccer and lacrosse.

Former Bulldog standout and current Redskins player Evan Royster stopped by on Friday, along with his teammate, Chris Neild. The two greeted fans as part of the Redskins' 80th anniversary Thank You Tour, in which players visit events to thank fans for their support. Royster said that it felt great to be back at Westfield. 

"I get to come out here and watch the games on the fields that I used to play on. It's a great experience and it's good to be back," Royster said.
