Fairfax County Police have released portions of a harrowing 911 call from a Centreville home invasion that resulted in the death of a Manassas Park-area man last year.

Police hope that by releasing the tape they can catch the perpetrators of  the murder of Jose Rosales Cardona, 39. They are asking the public to step forward if they recognize the voices on the tape.

Cardona, a handyman at a home near Compton Drive in Centreville, died while trying to defend the family he worked for from armed gunmen in May 2010.

Police also released a photo of a white truck they believe a third person drove. They believe the perpetrators remain in the DC/Northern Virginia/Maryland area.
