Stuff People Say in Centreville

"Look, another helicopter."

Viral videos about the things people say have been making the rounds over the last couple weeks. There's [stuff] New Yorkers say, [stuff] brides say, even a Downton-Abbey themed [stuff] dowager countesses say

So several days ago, we asked our Facebook friends what stuff people in Centreville say. Their answers were pretty funny, so we decided to share the results with the rest of our readers, too:

Sorry, I was stuck in traffic.

Look, another helicopter.

I think I knocked something out of alignment driving over those drainage grates outside the Post Office.

There's nothing to do around here.

Do you live off 28 or 29?

Can you watch my kids?

I got it at Trader Joe's.

We live in Centreville, but not really - we're in the section north of 66 and east of 28 near Fair Lakes.

There's an 'old town' in Centreville? Where?

Those people who moved to Gainesville to avoid the Centreville traffic have become our Centreville traffic!

There is no Centre in Centreville!

It's spelled "C- e-n-t-r-e ville, not Centerville!

Just how many Braddock Roads are there?

I remember when there were no lights from Stone Road to Shirley Gate...and the 7-11 at Clifton used to be George's store!

I love strip malls! And we're only 20-some miles from DC!

Forecast calls for 1/2 inch of snow, better get to the store for milk, bread, and toilet paper.
