Sully Station Plaza to Fill Long-Vacant Anchor Store

Good Fortune supermarket is coming soon to the plaza.

For nearly three years, .

But soon, the plaza should get a breath of new life as the Good Fortune Asian supermarket moves into the space.

A large banner with the message that the store is "coming soon" is now set up outside the store. A vice president with JBG Rosenfeld Retail, the company that leases the space, did not return a call Monday requesting more information about the new tenant and when the store would open.

Good Fortune is a spinoff of a grocery store chain based in New York, and opened a location in Falls Church last year, according to a Falls Church News-Press article. Most of Good Fortune's website is not written in English, but the site indicates that the Centreville store will be open from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m. most days.

Good Fortune will fill the space abruptly vacated by the Grand Village Asian supermarket in October 2010—just one year into their lease.
