Local girls escort American and Chinese players onto the field, in front of over 18,000 fans.
On May 27th, the Southwestern Youth Association (SYA) girls U9-10 and 11 teams visited PPL Park in Philadelphia, Pa., where they spent time with some of the world's biggest soccer stars, like Abby Wambach and Hope Solo.
The U.S. team played against China, winning the game 4-1. The girls escorted players from both teams onto the field, in front of over 18,000 soccer fans. Many of the players also gave autographs and hugged the SYA girls. A video uploaded on YouTube by Black Lab Film+TV shows more of the girls' experience.
