The A Cappella Festival is a great CVHS tradition featuring the best ACappella groups from local colleges often including FCPS alumni. Organized each year by Steve Mohyla, the festival this year includes his group, Voice Males, and USounds from Christopher Newport University with CVHS grad Jenn Pluchinsky, BellA’cappella from the University of Mary Washington, the Georgetown Chimes from Georgetown University, and CVHS’s own student run group, Contempo! Just like “The Sing Off” with only the finalists!
The Festival is Friday, January 25 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $10, but students get in free! There will be a reception after the concert for the audience to meet the members of the performing ensembles.
