Come join the 7th Annual Bull Run Runners Festival of Lights 5k run.Every year we pick Bull Run Regional Park and a different charity to raise funds to donate. Earlier this year we choose The American Red Cross. Without the knowledge they were really going to need our help, but knowing they are a great organization and help many of us when the time comes when we are really in need of assistance. In the Northern Virginia Area we were able to dodge this storm. Lets help to keep The American Red Cross strong and ready so they can continue in their efforts to help the less fortunate. You can reg. on line at bullrunrunners.com Race starts at 3pm Dec. 31st at Bull Run Regional Park Special Event Center. Hot chocolate and snacks will be offered following the run. This is a great way to start your New Year and enjoy spending time outside with your family. Also it feels good to know that your helping in your community. Hope to see you at this fun filled event.

More About Bull Run Regional Park
A popular site for family parties, barbecues and hiking, Bull Run Regional Park is also home to a large campground, a public shooting center and the seasonally operated Atlantis Waterpark. The 17.5-mile-long Bull Run-Occoquan trail through the park is open for horseback riding and walking. Wildlife here includes raccoons, opossums, beavers and blue herons.
