5. Today…in History: On Aug. 28, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, at the end of the March on Washington. Crowds are expected to return to that spot today to hear from President Barack Obama on the 50th anniversary of this milestone in the civil rights movement.
