Build-A-Bear Workshop Names Gabrielle Levy Semifinalist in 'Huggable Heroes' Awards

10-year-old Gabrielle Levy, co-founder of Caring Kids Cards, recognized for extensive volunteer work.

Build-A-Bear Workshop has named 10-year-old Gabrielle Levy, of Centreville, as a semifinalist in the company's "Huggable Heroes" program. 

Gabrielle was chosen as a semifinalist out of over 1,000 contenders for her role as the co-founder of Caring Kids Cards—a project in which she works to distribute cards to military, seniors, police and many others. Her younger brother, Aiden, co-founded the project with her. Both Gabrielle and Aiden blog about volunteering and other subjects on Patch. 

This is not the first time Gabrielle has been honored for her extensive volunteer work. She was the youngest person ever to be selected as Lady Fairfax, an honor bestowed by Sully District Supervisor Michael Frey for her community service. Last year, .
