Build-A-Bear Workshop has named 10-year-old Gabrielle Levy, of Centreville, as a semifinalist in the company's "Huggable Heroes" program.
Gabrielle was chosen as a semifinalist out of over 1,000 contenders for her role as the co-founder of Caring Kids Cards—a project in which she works to distribute cards to military, seniors, police and many others. This is not the first time Gabrielle has been honored for her extensive volunteer work. She was the youngest person ever to be selected as Lady Fairfax, an honor bestowed by Sully District Supervisor Michael Frey for her community service. Last year, .
