National Night Out: Centreville Neighborhoods Participate

The countywide event is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.

National Night Out 2013 is scheduled for Aug. 6. Various events are planned in different neighborhoods all over Fairfax County from 6-9 p.m.

Some neighborhoods have registered with FCPD to participate in the Lights On Campaign, where residents in a neighborhood have decided to turn on their outside lights from 6-9 p.m. instead of planning an event.

Some of the Centreville neighborhoods that have registered for events for National Night Out include:

  • Lakeside Apartments, 6221 Summer Pond Drive
  • Sully Station 2, 5501 Sully Park Drive
  • Sully Station 1, 5101 Sequoia Farms Drive
  • The Elms, 13840 Braddock Springs Road
  • See more in this list of participating neighborhoods.
National Night Out involves communities coming together to plan block parties or smaller group events to meet each other and support crime and drug prevention in Fairfax County. The size of these events differ for each neighborhood and is totally up to the community. FCPD officers often stop by some of the events to meet residents.
