The Centreville community celebrated 220 years of history on Saturday.

Centreville Day 2012 kicked off Saturday with a new Zombie Slouch 5k run, trick-or-treating, the annual parade—and perfect fall weather to go along with it all.

There were a number of festivities to mark the day. CentreView reporter Bonnie Hobbs was named Citizen of the Year by the Centreville Day Planning Committee. Performers including Mia Saunders Ballet, the Centreville Dance Theatre, the Alliance Community Theatre and many others provided entertainment on stage.

The 20th annual festival was a celebration of the Centreville community's rich, 220-year history.
