Watch Summer Movies Under the Stars at Free Drive-In Movie Theater

Mark your calendar for Fairfax County's "Starlight Cinema" dates in August.

Enjoy what was once an icon of American social life as Starlight Cinema revives the drive-in movie theater with films every Saturday night in Centreville.

Starting August 2, the fun begins before the opening credits roll with music, food and children’s activities from 6 to 8 p.m.

The movie begins at dark. Now there’s an opportunity to sample this old-fashioned entertainment, with a date or the whole family, from the comfort of your own car or lounging on blankets in front of the screen. You should bring a radio for listening outdoors or in case you have to park in the overflow lot.
