Sidewalk Sale to Benefit Friends of Homeless Animals

The sale will help pay for medical bills for Kira, a 12-year-old pit bull mix.

A sidewalk sale at The Treasure Hound Sunday afternoon will benefit the Friends of Homeless Animals, as they pay medical bills for a pit bull mix up for adoption.

Kira, a 12-year-old dog, was surrendered by her owners to Friends of Homeless Animals. The sidewalk sale runs from 1-4 p.m. at The Treasure Hound, 14508 Lee Road, Chantilly. $5 will pay for a paper bag to fill up.

The shop is run by the Friends of Homeless Animals to help raise funds for their animal rescue efforts.
