When Will Copper Canyon Grill in Centreville Reopen?

Many residents are missing the Centreville location—it's the only one in the entire state.

If you find yourself craving a hot chowder, an unforgettable appetizer or a decadent dessert from the Copper Canyon Grill menu, then you're probably wondering when the doors of the Centreville location will again open for business.

The restaurant, located at 5815 Trinity Parkway, has been closed since October for remodeling.

A spokeswoman for Copper Canyon Grill said a reopening date for the Centreville location is indefinite and there's no set date for when the restaurant will welcome patrons.

(sigh) Oh well.

The good news is there are other locations, but prepare to battle beltway traffic—the closest three are in Maryland with the closest of the closest in Silver Spring.

Here are the addresses:

  • Rio in the Washingtonian Center, 100 Boardwalk Place in Gaithersburg
  • 928 Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring
  • Woodmore Town Center, 9300 Taj Lane in Glenarden
The restaurant chain traces its origins to Redrock Canyon Grill in Oklahoma City, Okla.

The Redrock name expanded to the mid-Atlantic region in 2009 and later became Copper Canyon Grill.
