While high scores on the SAT and TJ are important for entrance and placement, statistics show they do not guarantee long term success if the focus is on “beat the test!” It is the core, critical thinking, cross curriculum skills that assure not only good scores, but lifelong success. That is the reason we have established the Linguizz Center of Excellence and our “Beyond the Books” programs specifically in Language Arts. Our program is called WRTS - across the curriculum speaking, reading, writing and Thinking!

Our integrated approach is based on oracy or listening and speaking and literacy which is reading and writing. Research tells us that the four components should not be segregated into four separate areas, but combined in thematic approaches which facilitate the development of the four skills.
