In case you missed it: highlights from Patch coverage over the past week.

: A Centreville nonprofit raised about $16,000 to help wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The charity event was held by a new group, Friends of the Wounded Veterans, which started last year. About 200 people showed up for the fundraiser, which included a raffle for a 1992 Harley Davidson motorcycle, in addition to music and a classic car and motorcycle show. 

: On the night of July 4th, a car chase that started in Washington D.C. ended in a quiet Centreville neighborhood. 

: Santos Martinez Guzman, of Centreville, also faces charges of attempted malicious wounding and brandishing a weapon, Prince William County Police said.

Brad Edmonds, who police believe broke into over 100 homes in Fairfax County, will face charges in Fairfax, commonwealth attorney Raymond F. Morrogh said on Thursday. In May Morrogh had saidto pursue charges against Edmonds.
