Terry McAuliffe or Ken Cuccinelli? Speak Out

Polls show the candidates for Virginia governor virtually tied.

Polls are polls, and sometimes they vary widely and sometimes they don’t.

But here’s what virtually all the current polls show: Virginians aren’t thrilled with their choices of Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Ken Cuccinelli for governor.

The most recent  Roanoke College poll shows McAuliffe with a 2-point lead, 35 percent to 33 percent, over Mr. Cuccinelli, the state’s attorney general. Given the margin of error, at 3.3 percentage points, that indicates the race is virtually tied.

The third choice, Libertarian candidate Robert Sarvis, is grabbing 8 percent of the vote, but the poll shows most people don’t know who he is — or that he’s even running.

So, now that we’re cruising up on October, it’s time to ask you: Who are you planning to vote for in the governor’s race? And why?
