The Results: How Centreville Voted in the Governor's Race on Election Day
Most of Centreville voted for Cuccinelli in Tuesday's election.
Voters in the Centreville area of western Fairfax County headed to the polls on Tuesday to choose a new governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and local delegates.
Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat, narrowly defeated Republican candidate Ken Cuccinelli.
Most of Centreville lies in the 40th District and most of the precincts in the district went to Cuccinelli, according to unofficial results from the Virginia State Board of Elections.
Of the 17 precincts in the 50th district, Cuccinelli had the most votes in 10 of them.

Clifton: Cuccinelli-55 percent McAuliffe-39 percent
Colchester: Cuccinelli-52 percent McAuliffe-42 percent
Fairfax Station: Cuccinelli-49 percent McAuliffe-44 percent
Woodyard: Cuccinelli-50 percent McAuliffe-43 percent
Pope's Head: Cuccinelli-54 percent McAuliffe-38 percent
Newgate North: Cuccinelli-45 percent McAuliffe-48 percent
Willow Springs: Cuccinelli-48 percent McAuliffe-46 percent
Newgate South: Cuccinelli-53 percent McAuliffe-39 percent
Centre Ridge: Cuccinelli-36 percent McAuliffe-57 percent
Virginia Run: Cuccinelli-54 percent McAuliffe 38-percent
Centreville: Cuccinelli-38 percent McAuliffe 55-percent
Green Trails: Cuccinelli 37 percent McAuliffe 58 percent
Deen Park: Cuccinelli 49 percent McAuliffe 44 percent
Bull Run: Cuccinelli 57 percent McAuliffe-36 percent
Londontowne 2: Cuccinelli 23 percent McAuliffe 73 percent
Old Mill: Cuccinelli 40 percent McAuliffe-55 percent
Compton: Cuccinelli 43 percent McAuliffe-50 percent
In other state contests, Democrat Ralph Northam's win over Republican E.W. Jackson for the lieutenant governor position was one of the first to be announced Tuesday night. Mark Obenshain, the only victorious Republican of the night, won the attorney general position over Democrat Mark Herring.
