33rd Annual Ghost Train at Burke Lake Park

What:
Northern Virginia Community College and Burke Lake Park are hosting the 33rd annual "Ghost Train" Halloween community event at Burke Lake Park on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Ghost Train celebrates its 33rd year providing fun and affordable activities for children and their families in celebration of the autumn season.

The Ghost Train will feature activities for all ages, including a moon bounce, cotton candy, carousel rides, pizza, hot chocolate, kettle corn, a miniature tractor pull competition, pumpkin bowling, and a magical ride through the park. The train travels along the tracks depicting scenes of popular children's stories. Cost per ticket is $4.00 and children under 2 years of age ride for free. Donations made from the moon bounce and cotton candy will be collected and proceeds will go to support the Wounded Warrior Project.

Come share your costume, excitement and support for the season with the Recreation, Parks and Leisure Studies Program at Northern Virginia Community College in cooperation with Burke Lake Park, Fairfax County Park Authority.
