THINK

Max Major is not your average magician.  Using “people not props,” Major’s show has
earned such critical acclaim that he was voted the best performing artist in DC
by readers of the Washington City Paper for
the third time in 2013.  And now he’s
coming back to a stage near you!  Max
Major is bringing back his spell-binding show “THINK: An Evening of Mind
Reading and Magic” to The Winery at Bull Run, located in Centreville, VA.  This wildly popular show has sold out DC’s
Hotel Helix for 15 weeks in 2012, Arlington Draft House in June 2013, and
throughout its six month run at Living Social’s 918 F Street Venue.  And just this June, Max performed his amazing
show at Philadelphia’s The Franklin Institute for the grand opening their brand
new exhibit “Your Brain!”

Throughout the course of the show, called an “enchanting
evening” by DC Modern Luxury, Major
uses a combination of magic, mind-reading, psychology, hypnosis, and suggestion
to demonstrate the untapped powers of the mind. Amongst the show’s highlights,
Major employs his uncanny understanding of body language to decode the thoughts
of audience members, assume the role of a human lie detector, and subject
himself to extreme physical harm in a dangerous game of Russian roulette.

Partial proceeds from the performance benefit the Meant to
Live Foundation, which works to end both global and local poverty in the DC
area.  As a member of M2L’s Board, The
Winery at Bull Run performance is particularly dear to Major.
