Union Mills "Pups in the Pool" dog swim

"Pups in the Pool"

Union Mills Community Association will be holding their first "Dog Day" event at the community pool on Saturday, September 7, 2013.  The event is open to residents as well as their guests and will give canine companions a way to bid summer adieu. Voluntary donations are requested to go to support "Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter".  Pre-registeration is strongly recommended through Sequoia Management. (Contact Genel Clark at 703-803-9641 or via email at gclark@sequoiamgmt.com.  This is for dogs that well socialized and owners must present proof of current rabies vaccinations.  More info (click here)

About FFCAS - More than 5,000 animals, including cats, dogs small mammals, reptiles and livestock, come to the Fairfax County Animal Shelter each year.  The shelter opens its doors - and its heart - to care for each and every animal. But, the shelter can't do it alone.  Thankfully, the Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter is here to help.  Through donor and volunteer support, they provide medical care, food, supplies and sumch more to help the shelter care for these loving animals.  In doing so they help save lives - Together.
