On Wednesday, August 28th is the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s march. There will be many celebrations and the work on the Lincoln and Martin Luther King memorial will be complete.
As part of the celebration people will take a midnight bus to where Martin Luther King gave his speech. Where did he give his speech? On the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. There the participants of the bus ride will give a speech as well as Barack Obama.
Then they will march to The Martin Luther King Memorial. You can see the statue and quotes.
