WFCWC Presents "The Evolving Role of the First Lady"

On Monday, March 19, the GFWC-Western Fairfax County Woman's Club (WFCWC) will host a discussion on "The Evolving Role of the First Lady."  Our featured speaker Dr. Janette Muir is an Associate Professor in New Century College, George Mason University, and teaches courses in Political Communication and Rhetoric.  Dr. Muir will discuss how, since the beginning of American political history, women have played important roles in supporting their presidential spouses.  Her talk will highlight the changing role of First Ladies and the way in which the Office of the First Lady has evolved over time.  7 p.m. at the Greenbriar Community Center.  Guests are welcome and admission is free.  For more information, please call Cheryl at 703 818-0042 or e-mail us.
