Flashback: My Freshman Year
Everything was awesome! I was a high school freshman who had broken out of his shyness shell. In my middle school years I knew no one more then my teachers and the people who I sat next to in class.
Meeting new people led to fun times and high school football games, come fall time. These games on Friday nights turned out to be where I would end up meeting most of my close friends my early high school years, including a few who had a huge influence on me.

One in particular, my friend Kelly, was one of those girls with a colorful personality who liked to carry her point and shoot camera with her to every event. Then, like most people these days, she'd upload the photos to Facebook later that week.
This is something I soon got into: I liked the idea of "capturing the memories" and then looking back on it later and having those Facebook comment conversations. This is when I went out and bought a Sony Cybershot point and shoot for $300.

Three years later, I look back and see how simply my photography passion started and how far it's grown and think about how much farther it will grow.
My name is Jon Fleming, and what started as something simple has now overtaken my life and determined my career path.
