Five Things to Know in Centreville This Week

Glory Days Grill Bowl, blood drive, consignment sale and more this week.

1.  takes place Saturday, at Ellanor C. Lawrence Park. It is the single largest source of fundraising for SYA football and cheerleading. There will be 25 youth football games throughout the day and a silent auction. 

2. G&C Tire & Auto Service is hosting  on Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The owners will provide a free lunch to all donors, and hold a drawing for free oil change and flat-screen TV, along with a T-shirt giveaway. Questions? Call 703-263-2474.

3. At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, , Little Giants, at 14141 Parke Long Ct., Chantilly, to benefit CYA Football 110-pound team. Donations will be collected to support the team.

4. Fairfax County Mothers of Multiples will  at Chantilly High School Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free and over 200 families will be selling clothing. 

5. The Centreville Wildcats Marching Band . Bring your car to the Sunoco gas station off Route 29 (near the Grand Mart) on Sept. 9, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to support the band.
