This program affords these students the opportunity to live together as self-governing citizens; it also informs them of the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship, enabling them to better understand and participate in the functioning of their government.
Boys State will be held June 17-23, 2012 at Liberty University in Lynchburg, while Girls State will be held the same week at Longwood University in Farmville.
