$15,000 Worth of Copper Wiring Reported Stolen at Chantilly Construction Site

At least $15,000 worth of copper wiring was stolen from a Chantilly construction site.

The burglars also caused about $60,000 worth of damage. Authorities report that police were called to the site on the 4300 block of Blue Spring Drive at about 6 p.m. on Dec. 21.

Burglars broke into a construction building and three trailers, authorities said.

A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest. Callers never have to give their names or appear in court.
