60 Centreville-Area Car Targeted by Suspects With BB Gun

Fairfax County Police said cars parked in the Centreville and Fairfax Oaks area of the county were targeted this week.

Police are searching for the suspects who went around with BB guns this week, shooting at windows of cars parked in the Centreville area, Fairfax Police reports show. 

Windows on more than 60 cars were targeted by the suspects around 1 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday, officers assigned to the Sully Police District said. 

Police responded to calls in Little Run, Rocky Run, Singleton's Grove, Old Centreville Crossing and the Green Trails communities—all in the Centreville area.

Officers assigned to the Fair Oaks area of the county also handled numerous cases in the Penderbrook community.
