BB Pellets Damage at Least 100 Parked Cars

Reward offered for information that leads to an arrest.

Since Feb. 2, at least 100 parked cars in the Centreville area have been struck by BB-style projectiles, according to Fairfax County Police.

"It appears the suspects are driving through neighborhoods shooting the BBs at parked cars, breaking the windows and causing damage," according to a Fairfax County Crime Solvers release. 

Many of the vehicles were parked on or near: Old Centreville Road, Skipton Court, Federation Drive, Singletons Way and Compton Lane.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Solvers by phone at 866-411-TIPS(8477), visit fairfaxcrimesolvers.org or text “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES(274637). 

A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest. Callers never have to give their names or appear in court.
