The Centreville area is becoming a risk if you follow the news. Perhaps it's time for the "Fortress" plan with day/night cameras, whole house alarm, a group of German Shepherds and a few firearms. I thought home invasions would not turn to this area but I was wrong when some time back, a gardener was killed during an incident. The area is changing and when seconds count, help is 20 minutes or more away. The 1950's are gone when one could leave a house unlocked and everyone knew their neighbors. Not paranoid, just aware of...change.
