Centreville Dad to Discuss Car Safety After Surviving Crash

Talk is Wednesday night at Chantilly police station.

A Centreville father and son avoided the worst after a horrible crash and the dad will tell his story Wednesday night in Chantilly.

Fairfax County police will recognize the 35-year-old Centreville man, and his 3-year-old son, tonight with the "DMV Saved-By-the-Belt Award," according to a news release from the Fairfax County Police Department.

The public is invited to come hear their compelling story.

With proper use of the seat belt and child safety seat, the two avoided death despite extensive damage to the vehicle.
