Crime Map: Homicide in Chantilly, Teen Drove Stolen Vehicle

Recent crimes in the Sully District.

The following information is taken from the Fairfax County Police Department's weekly incident report. 

Homicide, Haseeb Raza, 24, of Chantilly was fatally stabbed by his 20-year-old brother, police said.

Auto theft, I66/Route 29, 6/22/13, 11:10 p.m. An officer observed a stolen vehicle pass him and stopped the vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle ran away and was not located. Following an investigation, the other passengers were released. The driver, a 17-year-old boy from Manassas, was charged with grand larceny and driving on a revoked license.

Burglary, 4100 block of Sulser Place, 6/25/13, 11:10 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the home but nothing was stolen. Forced entry was made through an unsecured window.

Unlawful entry, 13500 block of Sierra Drive, 6/22/13, 5:40 p.m. A resident reported an unknown man entered the unlocked home. When the suspect saw someone in the home, he turned around and walked away.
