Suspected Oakland Gunman Has Local Ties

One Goh, accused of massacring seven people at a college in California, used to live in Fairfax County.

The man who authorities  in Oakland, CA, has ties to Fairfax County. 

One L. Goh, 43, a native of South Korea, lived in a Springfield apartment before moving to Hayes, VA. His brother, U.S. Army Sgt. Su Wan Ko, died in a traffic accident in Virginia last year, Stars and Stripes reported, and the memorial service was held in Centreville. He also has a brother, Su Kwon Ko, who lives in Centreville, according to the San Francisco Chronicle

One Goh filed a petition in February 2002 in Fairfax County Circuit Court to change his name from Su Nam Ko. In court documents, he wrote that the reason was because Su Nam Ko "sounds like a girl's name," the Associated Press reported Thursday.
