Police Release New Video of Suspected Serial Bottom Slasher

The same man may be connected to six incidents where women were cut in Fairfax County shopping centers.

Fairfax County Police on Wednesday released a new video of a man who may have cut six women at Fairfax County retailers in the past few months.

The video is from an incident that took place in June at Marshalls in Greenbriar Shopping Center. The man typically follows young women into stores, distracts them, cuts them, then slips away. Three similar incidents took place at Fair Oaks Mall: once in February at Champps, in May at Ann Taylor and at the end of July in Forever XXI. A similar incident also took place at Tysons Corner.

After those incidents were highly publicized, a woman recently stepped forward to say that she was slashed in June at Fairfax Towne Center.
