Video: Quick-Thinking Witnesses Save Centreville Man's Life

Fire and Rescue Department honors the two early this week.

This week the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department presented Kim Bielecki and Edward Ingol with awards for saving a local man's life in March. Ed Prater suffered a heart attack while playing basketball at  in Centreville. Bielecki, an employee at Life Time, ran to get a defibrillator, while Ingol, a nurse by profession, performed CPR.

Fire and Rescue Department officials said that it is extremely rare that anyone would know to get the defibrillator in this type of situation or how to use it. Fortunately for Prater, these two witnesses were in the right place at the right time.
