Serial Slasher May Have Struck Again

The latest incident took place at Fairfax Towne Center.

Police believe that the serial butt slasher targeting young women in Fairfax County may have cut a sixth victim in June. 

, the woman said she was shopping at the T.J. Maxx at Fairfax Towne Center when she felt a pinch on her bottom. She turned around, saw a man picking up pieces of clothing and thought she might have been cut by one of the hangers. When she arrived at home, she saw cuts in her clothing, Fairfax County police said in a press release.

The incident occurred on June 8th, but the victim came forward after five other incidents were publicized. One recently occurred in a Marshall’s at Greenbriar Shopping Center around on June 20th, police said.

The man may also have struck at Fair Oaks three other times—once at Champs on February 14th, again on May 15th at Ann Taylor, and most recently, at Forever XXI on July 25th.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his late 20s, around 5 feet 6 inches tall and heavy-set.
