Teenage Girl, Boy Robbed by Group of Teens in Centreville

Teen boy was pushed to the ground and struck; girl ran away.

A teenage boy and girl were robbed recently by a group of teenage boys in Centreville, according to Fairfax County Police.

The robbery took place Monday at Sunset Ridge and Little Rocky Run Circle in Centreville. Fairfax County Police did not say, in their report published Tueday, what time the crime took place.

The 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old girl were approached by four to five teenage males while walking along the sidewalk. One suspect struck the male victim, knocking him to the ground.

The other suspects then struck the victim and took property from him. The female victim ran away.

Neither victim required medical treatment. The suspects were described as black, in their late teens.
