Two Men Arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana

Possession, intent to distribute: Officers observed a 2004 Pontiac SSE near Lee Highway and Route 28 south around 1:40 p.m. on Sunday, June 5. A passenger inside the car was hanging outside screaming profanities at people. As officers drove toward the car, the passenger climbed on top of the roof and continued to act disorderly. Police stopped the car on Lee Highway.

During the stop, officers located marijuana inside the car. The passenger, Darrel Andrew Carper, 20, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, disorderly conduct and drunk in public. In addition, police also served outstanding warrants from Harrisonburg, Va. police for trespassing and a probation violation and a capias warrant from Manassas City Police. The driver, Joshua Vincent Murray, 24, of 6958 Compton Lane in Centreville was charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. 

Larceny arrest: Raymond Scott Villard, 18, of Awbrey Patent Drive in Centreville, was arrested on June 3, 2011, on charges of possession or purchase of alcohol by a person under 21 years old, being drunk or profane in public, grand larceny of $200 or more (not from a person), entering a building to commit larceny and credit card larceny.
