Sully District Station Citizens Advisory Council meeting

The Sully District Station Citizens Advisory Council Meeting will have the following guests: 

Mr. David M. McKernan, Director, Officer of Emergency Management, Fairfax County and his assistant, Marcelo Ferreira, Office of Emergency Management, Volunteer Coordinator.  These two folks will come speak about emergency management, their role in county government, and most importantly, how we as citizens can prepare ourselves for sustainability in a disaster situation (earthquake, flood, hurricane, snow storm, etc).  I think the audience will get great insight and benefit from these folks vast experience in their field.

We will also have Sergeant Matt Owens and MPO Wellford Brock, of the Sully Station, come speak for a few minutes about our District Challenge efforts, specifically child seat safety.

Sully Distric Citizen Advisory Council meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
