The corridor heading from Manassas toward Interstate 66 near Centreville is of particular interest as a growing choke point for traffic, according to a WTOP report.
The $2.5 million study seek ways to address the congestion, but Marty Nohe, chairman of the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority told WTOP that the solution may not be more lanes.
"We're going to need a lot of community input," Nohe said.
