Centreville High Gets a Taste of Super Bowl Fame

's football field was featured in a commercial just before the Giants and the Patriots faced off in the biggest game of the year. 

The commercial aired twice, about half an hour before the Super Bowl in the DC and Baltimore markets. The commercial is an ad for SAIC, a science and technology company with branches all over the world, including Chantilly. Appropriately enough, the commercial is entitled "The Science of Football," and features two football players squaring off against each other. It also aired during the Air Force-Navy Game last October. 

The company, a business partner with CVHS, filmed the commercial in just one night last fall. "They did it very quickly," said Michael Campbell, the Centreville High School principal. 

Those who look closely at the commercial can see the scoreboard, with the words "CVHS Wildcats," in the background.
