Centreville Students Take Honors at Fair

Students created and ran a fictional business over the course of a year.

business management students recently competed at the Virtual Enterprise Virginia Trade Fair at Virginia Wesleyan University. 

Over the course of a school year, the students created and ran a fictional business, learning how to write a business plan, in addition to managing both company and personal finances. Students brought home the following awards:

First place, Marketing Case Study – Ben Krause, senior, and Austin Erickson, senior
Second place, Human Resources Case Study – Garrett Leavitt, junior and DJ Wollins, senior
Second place, Sales Presentation – Juliana Mueller, junior, and Ashton Newell, senior
Third place, Impact Marketing – Seniors Steven Santos and Natalia Jofre Aguilera
Fourth place, Website Design– Praveen Mohanraju, junior with assistance from Ankit Chatly, senior, and the rest of the class
