Key Club Hosts Carnival at Centreville High School
Key Club members raised $2,160 for the Eliminate Project, saving 1,200 mothers and their babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus
Westfield, Fairfax, Oakton, Freedom, Robinson and Centreville high schools participated in Key Club International’s Division 20B second annual carnival for the ELIMINATE project, held on Feb. 23 in Centreville High School’s Cafeteria.
The Carnival was held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and was open to the entire community, being publicized through local elementary schools.
Eric Yoon, the outgoing Division 20B Lieutenant Governor, arranged the entire event, with help from the six schools’ Key Clubs. Over 100 attendees enjoyed the Carnival’s activities, and organizers are already making plans to increase public awareness and promote the third Carnival, to be held next February.
