Photo of the Day: WWII Day at Rocky Run
The students at Rocky Run Middle School invited veterans and others with memories of the Second World War to share their stories.
On Thursday, Rocky Run Middle School held its annual World War II Oral History Day, which is unofficially nicknamed "The Latest Generation Meets the Greatest Generation."
Over 100 veterans and civilians with memories of the war visit the school every year, and share their experiences with the students. The students document the veterans' experiences as part of a special history class project.
